Wave of Cherry

The cherry.  It’s there.  Maybe not obvious, but that’s the intent.  Thick and thin rows of hardwood come together to make this end grain cutting board a piece of art as well as an amazingly durable tool to make any chef proud.

It’s what’s between the obvious that matters – Thick, rich rows of black walnut set the stage for the rest of this end grain cutting board.  Yellow heart is practically shining gold.  But the real stunner is the way the cherry and maple form a contrasting, soft wave the entire length of the board.  The top edges have been strongly beveled for a finely chiseled look.  We’ve even added diamond cut corners too.  Hand holds have been cut from the short sides of the cutting board to make gripping and lifting your prize kitchen tool easier.  Four rubber feet, attached with stainless steel screws, add anti-slip grip while you are using your cutting board as well as keep your board from unnecessarily sitting in moisture.
